What if!
What if the entire universe that we know of is just an atom from the far bigger verse of entirety. And each atom is in itself, a whole universe for the beings much much smaller, we can ever think of.
The layers we go into.. are the dimensions we are decreasing. And if we somehow could explore the outwards of the atom we are part of, we could go one dimension higher.
What if the atoms that contain our universe (and other universes) combine to form our universe again.

Anyway, nice imagination. Makes one wonder that the only true way we can cross interdimensional borders are not by materialistic means, but the spiritual and mental ones.
